The following information will help you complete the registration process:
Seminar Title: You can obtain the seminar title from this catalog, and date(s) from the PDC or its course announcements.
Registration: We use this information to confirm your enrollment and maintain your training record. We also use this information for billing purposes. It is important that the name, agency, and address be complete.
Employee ID#: This is your state employee ID number. It is listed on your State of Montana pay check or advice, your building security badge, and through the SABHRS system. If you are not an employee of the State of Montana, you may disregard this entry.
Invoicing: Invoicing takes place after the course has been completed. If you employer is not paying for your attendance, then please be prepared to pay via check payable to the "State of Montana".
Selection and Enrollment:
Generally, the Professional Development Center will select participants for training courses on a "first come, first served" basis. However, if the number of applicants for a course exceeds the maximum enrollment number, we will give priority to state employees. Applicants unable to enroll because a class is full will be placed on a stand-by list and notified of the next available course date.
The PDC establishes minimum and maximum numbers of participants for each course. These numbers vary according to course requirements and instructor preferences. You should register as soon as possible to be sure of a place in the class. If enrollment in any course falls below the minimum requirement, we will cancel the class and notify registrants.
Confirmation and Cancellation or Substitutions by Registrants:
Registrants will receive notice by regular mail or e-mail that their application is confirmed. The confirmation notice specifies the course title, date, time, and location.
If confirmation of enrollment is to be sent to someone other than the registrant (e.g., a supervisor), such information should accompany the registration form, or the agency training or personnel office should notify the PDC.
Notify the PDC of cancellations by calling the Center at 444-3871.
Cancellations may be made up to one day before the course date. After that date you may be charged for the full course fee. You must specifically contact PDC and notify us of your intent to cancel.
You may substitute persons for training at any time; agencies should notify the PDC about substitutions as soon as possible.
